Whether you know him as ’60s (important note: not 60’s) Spider-Man or Retro Spider-Man, the Know Your Meme folks educate us about our beloved Spidey’s use as a modern Internet meme. Mixing bizarre still shots from television’s 1967-1970 Spider-Man cartoon with silly captions that depict Spider-Man as a bit of a jerk (but a funny jerk, like Eric Cartman or Ron Burgundy) has been a swinging success. Our resident "Bob" (pictured here through the lens of photographer Jason DeFillippo) is in love with a woman who talks to animals.
