Where’s Servo? MST3K Print

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (or MST3K if you’re trying to save time) had a good run. As it turns out, there’s an almost endless supply of so-called “B” movies (you can decide if the “B” stands for budget or just bad). So when a couple of mad scientists lock up a hapless human in orbit and force him to watch this endless supply of B movies to find out which one will make him crack, it makes complete sense that this human would create robots for company and wisecrack through the assortment to maintain a semblance of sanity.

MST3K lasted for 11 years and endured a few cast changes along the way, but it was a fun ride, through and through. To celebrate this unlikely cultural bastion (Time Magazine lists it as one of the 100 Best TV Shows of All-Time), Secktacular has made this Where’s Waldo/MST3K mashup: Where’s Servo? 13″ x 19″ print on 61 lb. matte paper. According to the artist, it features “a character from every single movie riffed on Mystery Science Theater 3000 from the KTMA pilot (The Green Slime) through the final episode (Diabolik).” That’s dedication, friends! Check it out.

Our resident "Bob" (pictured here through the lens of photographer Jason DeFillippo) is in love with a woman who talks to animals. He has a fondness for belting out songs about seafaring and whiskey (arguably inappropriate in most social situations). He's arm-wrestled robots and won. He was born in a lighthouse on the storm-tossed shores of an island that has since been washed away and forgotten, so he's technically a citizen of nowhere. He's never killed in anger. He once underwent therapy for having an alien in his face, but he assures us that he's now feeling "much better." Fogarty also claims that he was once marooned along a tiny archipelago and survived for months using only his wits and a machete, but we find that a little hard to believe.
