WD NetCenter Network Drive: Low price but low performance

Speaking as someone is most definitely in the market for a good network drive, this article caught my interest with the quickness.
There are plenty of Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices in the market these days. Consumers have found these products handy for backing up data and for sharing files on their home network. Networked drives are fairly cheap, easy to use and allow a good deal of flexibility. Many different companies sell NASes, but they seem a most natural fit for hard-drive manufacturers.
