Yes, there really is such a thing as a modding culture. And from the looks of things, they can get pretty geeky…

Our first mod (or, as the case may be, your second or fifth) is complete. It’s a proud trophy to show your friends and relatives: a spiffy two-tone PC lit up inside to proudly show its impressive entrails; gawkers can “ooh” and “ah” at the graphics card, the UV reactive cables, the glowing fans.

When you show it off, fellow modders will evaluate it and comment on it, perhaps suggesting ways to make it even more impressive. How about window gaskets?
