Well, this is one of the better Open Source projects that I have seen in quite some time. It seems that this ‘Our Tunes project’ could change the way people listen to podcasts!
Last night at Portland’s PersonalTelco Meeting, Tom Higgins (no relation to Tim Higgins), demonstrated the open source Our Tunes project. It puts podcasts and music on PTP hotspots. The open source software is hosted locally so music and podcasts can be downloaded — fast and free. [Read the rest]
