Nvidia Announces New nForce, GeForce Product

Nvidia looks like they are cooking up some wondrous goodies for us. As things stand now, there is talk of nForce 400 and GeForce 6100-based systems being made available for us by Oct of this year. Hey, works for me!

Nvidia Corp. paper launched the nForce 400 integrated chipset and GeForce 6100 GPU on Tuesday.

Motherboard customers will include ASUSTeK, Biostar, Chaintech, DFI, ECS, Epox, Foxconn, Gigabyte, Jetway, MSI, and Shuttle. Support for high-definition video playback and output to high-definition televisions will be included, as well as DirectX 9.0 and Shader Model 3 and secure networking and secure storage.
