Don’t get me wrong, I think that the concept of a Tablet PC is pretty cool. But to have one that is a ‘wide screen’? I am going to have to think about that one for awhile before delivering an educated opinion.

In a trend I expect will continue to grow, here’s what I think is the first widescreen Tablet PC: The M280 from Gateway.

I’m eager to try out the new Gateway. I’m not so sure what I’ll think of the wider and heavier Tablet design, which suggests to me more that it’s a “notebook” than a “Tablet.” But maybe this isn’t such a bad thing.
