Case Mod Winner—The PainMaster 5000

When I first read the title, I thought it was a vague reference with some faceless tech support dept. But as it turns out it was the description for the winner of a Sci-Fi case mod contest.
This week’s winner in ExtremeTech’s Science Fiction Case Mod Contest is Justin Hatem. Justin’s rig resembles a weapon from the popular game Unreal Tournament—the PainMaster 5000 rocket launcher. Here’s what Justin has to say about his creation:
When I set out to build a different and creative case mod, I wanted to make something from scratch. I see WAY too many mods that are either just some windows and lights or someone takes an existing product and shoves a PC inside of it.
