ASUS is the Biggest Winner of Best Choice of Computex 2005

For the most part, I think ASUS is a pretty good company. While their backward views on Linux are irritating (at least last time I checked), I am glad to see that they are having some success with their wares at Computex 2005.
Taiwan External Trade Council today announced the winners of the annual Best Choice of Computex, and ASUS once again emerged as the biggest winner by taking home four awards, more than any competing companies.
This year, the competition opened up its selection process to the public through an online voting event, and consumers and purchasers selected the ASUS V6V notebook as the Buyers’ Choice in the PC System category. The ASUS V6V along with the MyPal A636 GPS (global positioning system) handheld computer and PM17T LCD (liquid crystal display) monitor each earned the Best Choice Award in their respective categories as well.
