OK, I realize that these are being aimed at ’sports enthusiasts’. But man, I would not mind taking one of these puppies home for a test drive anyway!

Sanyo has just introduced a couple of new LCD TVs in the CAPUJO line, which are aimed squarely at sports fans. All the TVs use Sanyo’s VIZON ENGINE III video system with a 10 bit architecture but the real selling point is the pre-defined video settings for just about every televised sport including, baseball, football, golf, “catch / boxing”, winter sports, water sports, marathon, and, yes, sumo. Four different models are available, ranging from 20 to 37 inches and with retail prices between 1300 and 2700 EUR.
