Sanyo launch DVR-H200 160Gb DVD hard drive recorder

  • No Related Post

Well Sayno has certainly been a busy little bee lately. Apparently they have been hard at work making sure that their new DVR-H200 160Gb DVD hard drive recorder meets with everyone’s expectations.

Aside from launching two new televisions today (here), Sayno has also launched the DVR-H200 that combines a 160Gb hard disc drive with a slim line DVD recorder.

As with most PVR’s the H200’s DVR technology allows the user to pause live TV which is automatically ‘buffered’ on to the units hard disc and because its large memory, it can record up to eight days’ worth of continuous television programmes.

While able to record onto DVD+R and DVD-RW discs, the DVR-H200 is compatible with DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD, Video CD, SVCD, MP3, JPEG and KODAK picture CD formats - and with the ability to save MP3 and JPEG files either the Hard Disc or direct to DVD.

Like the monitors the DVR-H200 will be available in June although no price has yet been set for the player. [Get the links]

I have a Sanyo DVR - H200 XE. Can you please let me know where I can obtain a copy of the instructions book that goes with it.

Thank you.

I am in serious need of advice fro someone who knows what they are doing and that speaks english. See I bought this 4 ch DVR wit 4 video ins, 2 video outs, 1 auido in, 1 audio outm a usb connect, and VGA connect, it was listed to have a rack set up for a 250 GB HDD with all this memory listed in the description. Now I have this thing now and it has a rack that would hold a HDD drive but did not come with one. Thats why I hate the language barrier in ebay. I wrote them back asking them where to get the 250GB HDD for this unit and they answered, a 5″ 250GB HDD will fit. How do I know that. if that is true why am I seing so many different options for the same thing out there. I could buy one meant for CPU’s, or some other system. It could have the wrong connections.
See the one I need has a white plastic plug that goes into it I assume its the power cable. then I have a ribbon thatis ran to the back and connects. This is a very off brand. as a matter of fact the only thing it say on the is it is a stand alone DVR MDL#3545v. All I want is a 250GB hdd to attach to the fixed rail inside this unit that will connect to its plugs and finally work. Can you help me please, I really do not know where elese to turn withh out trying to be sold a $200 hdd when I have seen several for under $100 I just want to know if all have the same universal hookups, and if there are different ones for computers as compared to DVR’s.

Thanks, and please respond. I beg you.
