Samsung brings unprecedented image quality to consumers with its first line of 1080 DLP HDTVs

Well, at least Samsung is doing the HDTV thing right the first time! According to their press release, their stuff is being considered to be pretty ‘groundbreaking’. Killer picture quality is just a small part of what you can expect from their latest line.

DTV visionary Samsung Electronics America, Inc., a global leader in the home cinema industry, introduces its 6th Generation of DLP HDTVs led by the very first available 1080p DLP HDTV the HL-R5688W. Samsung is also unveiling the groundbreaking 68-Series, which features its largest DLP screen ever at 67”. This year’s line of new DLP HDTVs once again demonstrates Samsung’s commitment to advancing DLP technology, while maintaining the perfect balance of price, performance and form factor. These and all of Samsung’s DLP models will be on display during the Home Entertainment Show at the New York Hilton from April 28 – May 1, 2005.
