What good is having a great new gaming rig without the coolest lighting effects? OK, so this is not really my style personally. Still, it is cool to look at the latest mods with all of the crazy lighting affects. One such set up to look into is the A.C. Ryan “Backy”. Check it out here:
AC Ryan have only been around for a very short time but they are rapidly making a name for themselves, their high quality UV reactive products and innovative ideas are turning a lot of heads. Today I had the opportunity to look at a rather different product, they call it “Backy” and the idea behind Backy is a good one.
There is a common problem with external case mods, and that’s organising them to power your external mods which you have to buy an expensive PSU with an external Molex plug or have a cable coming from the inside of your case which can become expensive. Backy is designed to solve this problem by bringing Molex and fan connectors to a PCI plate where we will show you if it does the trick.
Closer Look
As you can see the Backy is a relatively simple product, it has 2x connectors and 2x fan connectors on a simple PCI plate which are connected to an internal power cable. You can see that the cables which have been sleeved have matching coloured Molex’s, the sleeving and Molex’s are UV reactive and is available in a variety of colours to match your case theme.
