Improvements Coming to the Zodiac Platform

Sometimes, PDA/game machines just need to try it a second time around before finally getting it right. Judging from what I am seeing here at PC Magazine with the Zodiac PDA/game machine from Tapwave, this certainly appears to be the case indeed.

The Zodiac PDA/game machine from Tapwave won our Last Gadget Standing competition at last year’s CES. This year we sat down with Byron Connell, Founder and Senior VP of Marketing at Tapwave, to discuss the platform and where it’s headed.

A much needed software update was released earlier last year, fixing a few niggling problems with the system software and adding a few improvements like background MP3 playing. The company has also made Outlook synchronization part of their standard software suite, rather than a paid add-on. Throughout this year, Tapwave plans to add more to the software suite by dramatically improving the multimedia functions of the device.
