Digimaster has stepped up to their name and mastered a new digital feat, marrying USB and SD. How you ask? Well they’ve quite simply turned a SD flash card into a USB flash drive. The USB end works with the new high speed 2.0 standard and the SD side is fully Secure Digital compatible. So you can use it on your desktop PC and your Palm, or PocketPC, or any other device that uses SD cards such as…yes now you’re catching on, your digital camera. No need to have a SD reader anymore when you’re off and about for the holidays. Just grab one (or two) of these cards and you’re good to go. Plug-and-play into your device and then eject it and plug it into the USB port of your notebook and you’re instantly downloading all those family pix of dad drinking too much eggnog and mom getting carried away with the fudge. ;)
Now there is a draw back to this. Ya, ya, ya, I know, there always is. Hey, it’s part of being a techno-geek. Sorry. My fellow geek, you’ll be throwing down $880 (Taiwan New Dollars) for a mere 128MB or $1,280 for the 256MB. Now I understand you can grab a few gig SD cards with matching SD readers for that price PLUS some more eggnog and fudge, but dude, you’re a techno-geek, remember? In order for you to retain the ooohs-and-aaaahs at every party you attend, you MUST purchase this now and have it delivered by personal carrier. FedEx is just not good enough for something of this importance. Feliz Navidad!
