Hardware Gift Ideas

Me? Not that you asked, but all I want for Christmas is something to organize my desktop. Or, should I say “desktops.” My physical desk is a mess, and my Windows Desktop is full of icons. This has nothing to do with hardware. I’m just writing filler. But let me know if you can help in either case. Don’t include Desktop Search Tools in your suggestion. I know all about those.

Let’s get down to it. PC Magazine has a bunch of gift ideas for your favorite gadget geek, or non-geek, as it were. There should be enough tech ideas for you.

I read PC Mag online (yes, I also have a print subscription), and I almost always read John Dvorak first. Sure, some people don’t like him, but I like the way he thinks out of the box. The smirk on his face in his photo tells all, in my opinion. Anyway, he has a great column on gift-giving ideas. It even includes arts and crafts!
