Here is a new one for ya, handmade USB 5GB hard drives. The weird part though, they are crammed into Starbucks mint tins. While the size is nice considering the storage ability, I am not too sure about buying custom made hardware off of eBay.

It is one thing when you are buying something that has already been built for you by a company, but hand made? A little too strange for my taste.

Some good chap is selling hand-made portable USB 5GB hard drives stuffed into Starbucks mint tins—not the most auspicious container around, but a nice bit of soldering all the same. You can Buy It Now for $225, but he’s also got a cheaper 2.5GB version in a blue tin, if you want to go a bit cheaper. Definitely small and very unique—I’m sure he’ll be sued for repurposing Starbucks tins any day now.
