Iomega Enhances Desktop Hard Drive Line

Boy, looks to me like hardware manufacturers are really pumping up the jam before the holidays! Just read an article stating that Iomega just completed a total redesign of their external hard drive line. New features, better design, sounds like something that I will have to take a closer look at.

San Diego-based Iomega announced this morning that it has introduced a sweeping redesign of its Iomega external hard drive line. The company has added a stackable design, the ability to vertically place drives, security slot, and more. The drives will be based on 7200 rpm drive technology and support USB 2.0, dual USB 2.0 and FireWire 400, and triple USB, FireWire 400, and FireWire 800.
