SanDisk Releases Powerful New Encryption Software

As an owner of a Cruzer USB Flash Drive, I must say that I am loving it. Unlike other brands I have owned in the past, I have had no trouble with it at all. Well, SanDisk has decided to sweeten the pot with some new encryption setup called CruzerLock 2.

SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) today introduced a new file encryption system that provides owners of all SanDisk Cruzer® USB flash drives with advanced security measures to protect important documents. The upgrade to SanDisk’s CruzerLock™ software is now available free for downloading from the company’s website  www.sandisk.com)

The new version of CruzerLock, called CruzerLock 2, will enable users to encrypt, decrypt, compress and password-protect personal files – even entire folders – stored on Cruzer USB drives. Operating on the Windows platform with drag-and-drop functionality, the software will be available first in English, then in other languages.
