System Cooling Explained

We have all had our fair share of heat problems in our computer systems. Let me first say that this doesn’t apply to those who are using pre-built systems from companies like Dell and HP, but it is intended more towards the beginner custom PC builders. Usually system builders like Dell and HP do a fairly good job of cooling their pre-built systems. The problem really starts when we enter the hardware enthusiast community. Many forums or message boards are filled with cooling advice and information, however, I feel this guide does a good job of explaining the basics.

This guide basically informs you about some heat sources, heat dissipation, and some of the better ways to properly cool the system. I really liked the case placement area of the guide, which is interesting in my opinion. Many people I know don’t know where to put their custom built and highly overclocked system. If you want more details - I suggest you check out CoolTechZone’s Basics to System Cooling Explained article.
