A man was stopped by a game-warden in Northern Algonquin Park recently with two buckets of fish leaving a lake well known for its fishing

The game warden asked the man, “Do you have a license to catch those fish?”

The man replied to the game warden, “No, sir. These are my pet fish.”

“Pet fish?!” the warden replied.

“Yes, sir. Every night I take these here fish down to the lake and let them swim around for a while. I whistle and they jump back into their buckets, and I take em home.”

“That’s a bunch of hooey! Fish can’t do that!” The man looked at the game warden for a moment, and then said, “Here, I’ll show you. It really works.”

“O.K. I’ve GOT to see this!” The game warden was curious. The man poured the fish in to the river and stood and waited. After several minutes, the game warden turned to the man and said, “Well?”

“Well, what?” the man responded.

“When are you going to call them back?” the game warden prompted.

“Call who back?” the man asked.

“The FISH.”

“What fish?” the man asked.

“We don’t have any.” replied the first blonde.

“Well, if your going to fish, you need fishing licenses.” said the Game Warden.

“But officer,” replied the second blonde,”we aren’t fishing. All we have are magnets at the end of our lines and we’re collecting debris off the ottom of the river.”

The Game Warden lifted up all the lines and, sure enough, there were horseshoe magnets tied on the end of each line. “Well, I know of no law against it,” said the Game Warden, “take all the debris you want.” And with that, the Game Warden left.

As soon as the Game Warden was out of sight, the three blondes started laughing hysterically. “What a dumb Fish Cop,” the second blonde said to the other two, “doesn’t he know that there are steelhead in this river?!”

Golf is a sport in which an individual player, using several types of clubs, has the ultimate objective of getting a ball into a hole in the fewest number of strokes possible. Golf is one of the few ball games that does not use a fixed, standardised playing field or area; rather, the game is played on golf courses, each one of which has a unique design andconsists of either 9 or 18 separate holes.Golf is a very old game and it was founded in 1754.If you do not know much about golf here are what strokes mean.HOLE IN ONE:means you got the shot in one 1EAGLE: Eagle is that you get the shots 2 under par such as if the par was five you would of got it in for 3BIRDIE: A birdie means you got the shot in on 1 under parPAR: In golf, a par is a predetermined number of strokes that a golfer should require to complete the hole inBoGEY: A bogey is 1 over the par of the holeALBATROSS:Albatross is three under par on a par fiveDOUBLE BOGEY: double bogey is 2 over the par on that holeTRIPLE BOGEY: A triple bogey is 3 over the par4 OVER PAR: is 4 over the par GOLF RULESAccording to golf rules, number of clubs you are allowed to carry with you during a round of golf is a maximum of fourteen.More than fourteen clubs will cause you to be penalized, and you can get a penalty for each extra club over fourteen that youhave. Before leaving a bunker, a player should carefully fill up and smooth over all holes and footprints made by him.A player should ensure that any divot hole made by him and any damage to the putting green made by a ball is carefullyrepaired. In the absence of special rules, two-ball matches should have precedence over and be entitled to pass any three- or four-ballmatch.A single player has no standing and should give way to a match of any kind.Any match playing a whole round is entitled to pass a match playing a shorter round. THERE ARE MANY MORE AND I WILL ADD MORE INFORMATION SOON THANK YOU FOR READING

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, “What is politics?”

Dad says, “Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I’m the breadwinner of the family, so let’s call me capitalism. Your Mom, she’s the administrator of the money, so we’ll call her the Government. We’re here to take care of your needs, so we’ll call you the people. The nanny, we’ll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we’ll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense,”

So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said.

Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents’ room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny’s room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, “Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now.”

The father says, “Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about.”

The little boy replies, “Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep poo.”

First, Politics is interesting. Itis about people and power and involves drama and events of great significance for everyone’s lives. Just think of the power play between nations, the great enterprise of European integration, the development of the welfare state and the rise and fall of governments. It is fascinating to investigate why politics works as it does and to explore and evaluate political ideas such as power, freedom and democracy.

Second, a good Politics degree will help you to launch a career in a wide range of fields, such as journalism, broadcasting, local government, management, publishing, interest groups, law, accountancy, education, the European Union, the voluntary sector, policy research and consultancy, and the civil service. For employers a good Politics degree means that you possess an excellent understanding of politics and government that will be of use whether you work in government or in the private or voluntary sectors and deal with government. It also demonstrates that you possess sophisticated intellectual skills. Politics graduates can accurately assess ideas and arguments on the basis of logic and evidence. They can construct answers to complex theoretical and empirical questions by developing logical arguments based on well-validated evidence. They have good communication skills and can use information and communications technologies. These are all important skills in today’s information economy.

If you do especially well you will be able to go on to a Masters degree, which would give you an extra edge in building your career. Our two major Masters schemes are the MScEcon in Public Policy, which has a marked European focus, and the MScEcon in Political Theory. The PhD is the ultimate academic qualification, being proof of real intellectual ability.

Politics as an area of study is concerned with developing a knowledge and understanding of government and society. The interaction of people, ideas and institutions provides the focus for understanding how values are allocated and resources distributed. Thus analyses of who gets what, when, how, why and where are central, as are concepts of power, justice, order, conflict, legitimacy, accountability, obligation, sovereignty and decision-making.

International Relations shares the concerns of Politics, but its focus is the regional and global arenas. Traditionally concerned with anarchy (the absence of international or global government) and the conflictual and co-operative engagement between states, International Relations is increasingly concerned with engagement between states, intergovernmental organisations and non-state actors such as transnational corporations and transnational civil society groups. As with the study of Politics, the study of International Relations encompasses philosophical, theoretical, institutional and issue-based concerns relating to governance, but at the regional and global levels.

The study of Politics and International Relations involves the description of political phenomena, which we try to explain using general theories and on which we reflect normatively. Normative political theory or political philosophy concerns the normative study of the political values of society and the international order, investigated both historically and analytically. Positive political theory or explanatory political theory concerns the study of the general mechanisms and forces which steer the behaviour of individuals and institutions as they interact at domestic, regional and global levels to allocate values and resources. Political science or political analysis uses these theoretical perspectives to inform and assess the explanation of historical events, political behaviour, the workings of political institutions and actors, political processes and the policy outputs of governance and regulatory structures.

For some, golf is just a game — but for many it is far more than a sport. Time and time again, we hear professional golfers and others share the life lessons they learned through their affiliation with golf.

A game for all ages and all skill levels, we can play for a lifetime. We play with friends, strangers, and sometimes our most peaceful moments find us walking up the final fairway alone as the last glimpse of daylight dips below the horizon. Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best — “Man does not quit playing because he gets old; he gets old because he quits playing.”

VMware and Parallels for Virtual Machines

It doesn't matter if you're running on Windows or Mac OS X - every power user needs either Parallels or VMware (or both). There's never been an easier way to test software without destroying your primary operating system's stability. Think of how many times you wish you could press a 'reverse' button on your computer. Plus, there's no easier way to try new Linux distributions - see what all the fuss is about. Run Windows in OS X, run Linux in Windows, but the best way to do either is with VMware and/or Parallels.
