What Mac OS 10.6 should have but probably won’t

The OS X operating system is pretty solid, it very rarely crashes, and it has an outstanding lineup of creative software to make everything from home movies to music. It has very few problems with malware or spyware and it is great for content creation. It is the choice of artists, writers, teachers, and people looking to have a stress free computing environment. But Apple’s market share continues to expand and more and more people choosing the Mac are looking for a very casual computer experience, and the casual computer user likes to play games.
Now, I know there are plenty of big name games on the Mac with more being added all the time, but what the casual user wants is the basic games that Windows users have enjoyed for over a decade. Solitaire, mahjongg, pinball, and multi-player card games. Apple has nothing to compete with these, last I checked the Mac only comes with Chess. I know that Apple employs some pretty smart programmers, surely it wouldn’t take them too long to put together a games package for those people that enjoy them.

I do agree, however I have found that there tends to be some good freeware alternatives to this as well.
