Welcome aboard!

Well, welcome to my own little slice of the Gnomestead. Just a quick introduction to me to get things rolling while I put together something with a little more depth to it. My name is Greg, and I have been working with computers for about 15 years now. I have dabbled in just about every aspect of PC’s from putting them together, to programming, building websites, repairing systems, managing networks. One of the best things I like about it all is that there is no way you can know everything, and in that area lies one of my greatest strenghts (IMHO) is that I know what I don’t know and am not afraid to admit it. One of my other strengths (again IMHO but this has been confirmed by others) is that I have the ability to explain all this techie type stuff in a non-techie manner so everyone can understand it. I can generally tell when someone isn’t quite “getting it” and I am able to change my explanation to help them get their head wrapped around it.

Those are about the basics of it all. I hope that we can make this corner of the Gnomestead a little place where everyone can find something worthwhile. While I finish putting together some things to discuss please feel free to comment about what you might have a question about or anything at all and we’ll see what avenue this all leads us down.

Thanks for visiting! Hope to see you back soon.

Greg

Glad to see you back on the ‘Net! I missed you’re previous site!

I enjoyed your info at my home computer amotate@peaknet.net for a long time. Then, suddenly, a month or so ago, it began coming in jumbled with all kinds of font numbers and other garbage, so it was hard to find the information. So I subscribed from this Library computer and it comes through clearly.
Since I never changed my email, I don’t understand what happended the newsletter. Now, at home, I have to treat it like spam and delete it each day. Can you unsubscribe amotate@peaknet.net or tell me how I can received a legible copy. Thanks,
Art Tate
