Does Obama Sponsor Lockergnome now?

Recently, it seems like every single page has some kind of ad running through AdSense for Obama. If there’s not one, there’s three. And it’s starting to get annoying. No matter what the article is about, there’s Obama looking back at you, BEGGING you to vote this year.

Usually AdSense scans articles for keywords, and then tries to match the best ads based on those keywords for your site. But even if a page makes absolutely no mention of the presidential candidate, there he is, looking back at you in the corner!

I have never used AdWords, Google’s service for running ads through AdSense, but I think the Obama campaign needs to be doing some serious pushing to get its ads here, unless it bought all the spots! Can someone fill me in on how this works?

Has anyone else noticed this too?

Oddly enough, the Ad that I’m seeing just below the “Further Reading” links is for a movie that I personally feel that every person who supports Sen. Obama needs to see:

“HYPE: The Obama Effect”

http://www.hypemovie.com

You will never see Sen. Obama and the “new” Democratic Party the same way again!

It’s interesting that you say this because when I came to this blog post, I was “blessed” with all advertisements for either the RNC or John McCain.

I’m not sure how AdSense works, but the HYPE ad is nothing more than Right Wing trash.

Folks, America is in deep trouble on all fronts as a result of the failed polices of the Republicans and George W. Bush.

Vote for a CHANGE. Yes we can!

I’m not begging, I’m URGING you for the future of our great nation.
