Bill Nye Almost Murdered; Gets Restraining Order on Ex-Wife

In an interview with CBS News, Bill Nye the Science Guy has reviled that he is currently trying to get a restraining order on his ex-wife after she elegidly tried to poison him. According to Bill, he was returning home when he saw his ex-wife rummaging around in the back garden. When Bill called out to her, she took off down the street fleeing on foot. After examining the garden, poison was discovered to be spread all over.

When questioned about the matter, his ex-wife ammited to having severe emotional problems and wanted to get back at Bill. She however claims that she was only trying to kill the roses in the garden so Bill couldn’t give them away to another women after she had taken the time to grow them. She claims that she never intended to physically harm Bill, and sees the restraining order as unnecessary.

After admitting to these actions however, attorneys feel it will be next to impossible to avoid the order. The couple were never officially married (reasons are unclear) and when they received the letter that their request was denied, they both felt it was better if they didn’t peruse it, according to Bill. Seems like he was wrong about that.
