Hi.

Nice forum design. Okay, I need your advice.
So, I wanna make online-shop, and I am looking for site template.
Can you suggest some online catalog or other resource where I can find many site templates?

It would be better if it will be free:)
I think many of us have personal sites, do you design it yourself?

Thx, Bill.

Hi Mitch,

I am using this great site that a few of my friends recommended: www.esnips.com
You get 1GB of free storage and you can organise you files in folders and define different privacy setting for each folder.
In addition, this site offers a toolbar with great features, one of them is the ability to upload entire folders and a few files per upload, with a size limit of 50 MB.
you were talking about simple...well it doesn't get more simple than that!

I'd like to find some kind of freeware which lets you build your own directory with topics you set yourself and can keep updated. Not a web bookmarking service but something you can load on your own domain and update from there as well. I would like to find software to help update and set it up rather than working with HTML code in the raw. It would be kind of a chore to keep it organized this way.

Dmoz is run by humans too and we actually do review each site ourselves, before it is listed. I don't think this is much different than searching Google or the Dmoz directory. Most of the results I got were sites I had reviewed on Dmoz. Nothing new.

THis site seems to be leaning the salaries in favor of the employers.. the average was way to low for my field in my city.. It almost looks like a bunch of hr people went in and entered the salaries their companies would like to be paying. I saw one example profile that the guy had an insane amount of certifications but was only making 67k per year.. for that kind of money he would not be able to afford to renew he certifications..

I would say this site is a bit off kilter and should be looked at with a eye of caution.

A much quicker, "set and forget" option to do the same thing would be to use the official "Google Browser Sync" extension from Google. It's completley automatic. While it takes a few minutes to set itself up on each new computer, it's well worth the wait. It's fantastic for people like me who own multiple computers and also happen to reformat a lot. All my cookies, bookmarks, and even saved passwords are exactly the same whether I'm on my laptop or desktop computer. You can get it from http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/browsersync/.

Get a Free Audio Book

Are you tired of reading books? Me too. Over the years, I developed pulpuslaceratapohobia - and the only known cure for that is Audible. Finally, a way to digest words without actually having to read them. Professional voices are wonderful choices if you love literary works in audio format. Are you ready to read some audio books? Maybe you should just listen to them instead.

VMware and Parallels for Virtual Machines

It doesn't matter if you're running on Windows or Mac OS X - every power user needs either Parallels or VMware (or both). There's never been an easier way to test software without destroying your primary operating system's stability. Think of how many times you wish you could press a 'reverse' button on your computer. Plus, there's no easier way to try new Linux distributions - see what all the fuss is about. Run Windows in OS X, run Linux in Windows, but the best way to do either is with VMware and/or Parallels.
