Sort Items on the Taskbar

I love the taskbar in Windows and all of the wonderful things it does. It is the home for all my running programs. The provider to my mouse’s clicking. Sometimes it can even be my under organized mess. To help solve that last problem I ran across and downloaded a free program called Taskix.

What does Taskix do? It allows you to sort your open tasks in the taskbar via Windows XP.

Simply click and drag with your mouse the button you want to move. Note that if “Group similar taskbar buttons” is set, you will be able to move a button inside the group or move the group as a whole, but not to move a button out of its group.

If you are as much of a neat freak as I am, you will love this tool. I have the bad habit of having several things going on at once. I work on this task for a while, then I move to the next one, and then the next one. With Taskix, organizing my work load become a lot easier because I have yet another way to get my work sorted.
