When it comes down to searching for news on your favorite bands, it isn’t very easy. Some bands don’t even have Web sites, while others have Web sites that look like a Flash monster threw up all over it. Well, the folks over at earFeeder might have found a solution to this problem.

They promise to scan your music and from that give you news about those artists you know and love.

EarFeeder scans your machine for music files, automatically detects your favorite musical artists and based on this generates a RSS news feed. The feed will contain among other things artist news, new releases, and ticket pre sales. All the details you need to know about your favorite bands and artists.

I have used this service a time or two and I can give you the two thumbs up from my end. It did a very good job at finding my musical favorites and then all I had to do was subscribe. Give them a shot, and let me know what you think.
