!st hole at Augusta is 455 yards so is a no brainer for me. I cant drive far enough to reach the traps on the right and the long second shot will leave me well short of the green side bunker so its not a “tin cup ” moment for me! Drive to the middle of the generous landing area, second shot with a 3 fairway metal 50 yds short of the bunker and a 52 degree wedge to the sloped green..one putt and im off to a good start! Im even par at the Masters?….virtually, at least!
