About
A quick intro:
I’m an average electrical engineer working in Trenton, NJ for a small consulting firm. I get to wear a lot of hats. From soldering through creating complete test configurations and software for Altera FPGAs, right on up to creating the preliminary production configurations using Altera Quartus II and the Nios II IDE. Occasionally I reluctantly do a bit of tech support - when possible I teach rather than simply do it myself. I really love what I do.
I’m older that most of the kids here so occasionally my focus on technology may be a little different from what you’re used to. First off, it’s ALL toys. Second, I love to tear apart expensive things to see how they work. Usually I can reassemble them.
In my spare time I read almost everything I can get my hands on. I will occasionally babble about non-technical topics.
I hope that you enjoy my musings.
