Yes, Valve has announced that it is planning to release brand-new portal content. But don’t think this will be simply a couple of new maps. Valve has stated that they are planning to add a lot more to portal, however just what they were referring to is still a mystery… Along with portal, Valve is continuously working on the next Half-Life 2 installment, Episode Three. They want to live up to everyone’s expectations and include all the features they have “promised.”

If you’re hoping to find out just what these features are, you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer. Longer as in months, not weeks. If episode two was any clue on how long it’s going to take, you could probably not expect to see episode three anytime in the near future. Looks like we’ll have another couple of years to kill before we can take the role of Gordon once again.

In the meantime, we can always play with the new Team Fortress 2 content that’s going to be coming out soon. Personally I can’t wait to hear GlaDOS’s sweet digital voice again…
