Hey, Chris! I was thinking of some Xbox Live tips and thought I would send them and see if they would be of any help to your viewers. I haven’t been in the chat room since school started again but I have been watching your YouTube videos. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
- Buy the plan that’s right for you. If you are a hardcore gamer, get the 12 month plan; you will save A LOT of money. Instead of paying 8 dollars a month you just pay about 4 or 5 in the end. If you’re a casual gamer, it could be easy not to play online or to also get the 12 month because in the end you will only play a couple times and you would have paid 8 dollars per month when you could have saved and bought some lunch.
- Have one friend playing with you. There are many team games, and if you have a friend on your team, you can also be on VoIP talking to each other and won’t have to worry about the rest of the team. Sometimes it’s worth it.
- If you are playing a game that enables players to use microphones, and someone is loud and sings a lot, MUTE THEM immediately, some games, like Halo 3, will keep them unmuted the whole game.
- Make sure the games you like to play have multilayer and are Xbox Live compatible. Games are sometimes better when played online. You have the full screen to yourself, unless someone else is playing too, and it’s easier to talk smack (though it is not advised!).
- Don’t waste money buying a subscription if you know you will only play once or twice. People buy the 1 month pack for 8 bucks and though it may seem to be just 8 bucks, it will drain your pockets each month every 1 or 2 times you want to play.
Bonus tip:
A lot of people know this, but if you have a modded or hacked Xbox or want one, don’t expect to be able to play on Live so easily. You could have a hardware ban and you may not be able to get online, which means: no updates, no arcade, no online.
A bonus bonus tip!:
I said that smack talk is not advised. It is true. I don’t mean to sound overly cautious, but there are some people who get offended easily and will rat you out to Microsoft, which could maybe also end up turning into an account ban.

Your “points” overlap and contradict themselves half the time.

Ok, don’t buy a subscription if I only play a couple of times.

What, oh wait, I should buy a subscription rather than ante up 8bucks a month.
Dude, cancel your Gold subsciption and go back to your English homework.
