At number 5 is the Halo 3 Plasma Pistol.

This weapon is horrible! Sure, in Halo 2 it could give you the advantage of the Noob Combo, but this isn’t the Halo 2 one. Yeah, I guess the ability to stop vehicles with a fully charged blast is pretty cool, but that’s probably all it’s got.

Taking 4th on this list is the Halo 2 Needler.

So, explosive pink needles. It has the girly girl pink with the manly man explosives. It can hold 30 needles and its damage per hit varies from low to an instant kill. But instant kills are probably only possible by emptying a whole clip or dual-wielding and emptying half the clips of both guns. And the needles home onto targets. Homing needles? Cool! But the needles are slow and don’t do much on vehicles. So, I guess it’s ok, but I still don’t like it a lot.

And number 3 is the Gravity Hammer of Halo 3!

Why would you not enjoy making a hammer hit the ground so that your enemies would fly straight into oblivion? It can also blow your opponents’ vehicles away and it can save you from grenades. But even when you’re not using it the hammer will still be visible because of the secondary weapon on the back/side thing Bungie added. Then when other players see you with it they’ll kill you right away. Great weapon, but it tells other players to take you out.

Number 2 on the list is the Mauler from Halo 3.

The Mauler. Not many people like it, but it has the ability to perform the Halo 3 Noob Combo. 1 close shot, then a quick melee attack will annoy any player. Not as strong as the Human Shotgun, but it can still cause an instant kill. While dual-wielding this gun, a single double shot will kill most enemies instantly. A substitute for the Noob Combo. Amazing weapon. But not as good as the next one.

And Number 1 is… the Halo 3 Assault Rifle.

Yeah, you AR haters weren’t expecting this, were you? The reason I chose this as the number 1 Halo weapon is because you (almost) always start with this gun. And, for an instant kill, all you have to do is shoot the enemy then melee! The only disadvantages for this gun are that some close range weapons can overpower it, like the shotgun and the energy sword.

Well, I guess this is it, there’re the top 5 Halo Weapons. Now the newbies that find out the advantages and disadvantages of these weapons can become the next Halo Masters.
