5 Best Online Games For Xbox Live

Hey, my name’s Roberto and I’m from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I’ve been watching your online show for quite some time and I’ve seen a lot of your videos of consoles, computers, and such but I’ve never really seen anything talking specifically about gaming on Xbox Live with other players. So I figured I’d run down five of the best and most played games online (in my opinion) for people who intend to buy an Xbox 360 with Xbox Live soon so when they come to play their games, they actually have quite a few players to play with! Surely some of you will disagree, but again, these are my opinions. So here I go…

5. Gears Of War: This game may have been out for quite some time but it is still one of the most populated games on Xbox Live. If you’re one of the “tanking” type of people who enjoys bashing people’s heads in and running into the pack with your shotgun with loads of blood effects and gore, this game is surely going to fill your daily craving.

4. Team Fortress 2: Some people in the console world don’t really get the value of this game being released on Xbox Live — yet — but every day more and more Xbox Live users seem to find an attachment to this game. On top of the fact that it comes in the Orange Box pack with Half Life 2, Half Life Episode 1 and 2, TF2 is surely a great addition (although I’m still waiting for a new Counter-Strike to hit the consoles hopefully).

3. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas: The Rainbow Six series has been around forever. Ubisoft has made a great choice of design and gameplay with this one — especially with the online version. You have a great variety of things that you can choose to set up in your game with the classic mode of “Terrorist Hunt.” This game is by far one of the best shooter/strategy games if you’re into that type of thing. Also check out Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 or 2. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has already been announced; make sure to keep an eye out!

2. Halo 3: Not much to say about this since everybody knows what Halo is. You may or may not like this game or any of the Halos, but surely you’ve played it at least once and already have an opinion. If you have never played it, well, all I can say is to get with the freakin’ program! If you like traveling in cars, running over people, jumping about three times higher then average, shooting people, and getting kids pissed off, this is the game you need to get! It has its upsides, like online co-op with four players. It has its downsides, too. If you’re playing a match with more than four players on one team you have to keep pressing your cross each time you want to talk.

Moving on to number 1…

Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare! THE game of 2007. If you’re truly a fan of online gaming and want to find a really good community of people to game with maturity, strategy, team play, ranks, and a military style of gaming, this IS the game for you.
