The Destiny Revival game series is a fan-made fighting-game series featuring characters from the hit anime, Sailor Moon. The games are loosely based on the licensed Super Nintendo games created by Namco/Bandai, but have been totally revamped with improved action, additional music, stages, characters and enemies. There are also never-before-seen cutscenes featuring original dialogue. Sailor Moon R Plus is the second full-length game of the series.

It’s available for PC and Dreamcast. Separate games are planned focusing on every season of Sailor Moon and its three movies.

More than two years in the making, the Destiny Revival game series is probably the most ambitious Sailor Moon fan-made game-series to date. Artists, voice-actors and programmers have voluntarily come together to realize their dream of reviving the memory of Sailor Moon and making a real impact in the fan community. Now that Sailor Moon R Plus is released, the creators look forward to Sailor Moon S Plus. It will be an even more magnificent achievement since the artwork and levels will have no relation to any previously-released Sailor Moon game. That means it’ll feature never-before-seen enemies, levels, and characters.
