These days we can look back with bemusement at the Soviet era. But there was a time when hammers and sickles were something to be dreaded and fought. The best villains since the Nazis were Soviets. And the most insidious Soviet villain will always be Stalin.

In today’s feature, Stalin’s Secret, you play the part of a Soviet test pilot putting a top-secret rocket-pack through its paces. Being an alpha test, the game is unfinished and is more of a series of rocket pack activities than a full-fledged action game. Still we had a great time floating around with the flying rucksack.

The 3D graphics are well done and look first-rate. And you’ll have plenty of time to admire them because the rocket pack is as slow and clunky as any Communist system.
