This svr game is going to be pretty sweet, but in a word of advice wait till it has been out for a month or two so the bugs and defects can be taken care of, I hope Jeff and Matt Hardy are on this game, it kind of irritated me when neither where on svr 07.

on smackdown vs raw 08 you should create a move on their and be able to name yor moves. in the story mode you should have flashback on what the created super star did to a wrestler. i think we should have our own backgroung showing the created superstar doing a special like wwe raw 2 rutheless agression. we should have our own custom sound track as our music. please put a way were you can get on the table and do your special on your opponet.

I think the area near the titantron should be made accesible as an environmental hotspot. It has been missed out in all the other svr game series.
and also….ps- vicsera and the steven richards are a waste of space in any game.

They should put Trish Stratus in the video game as a legend. They should make her where her WrestleMania 23 outfit. She should have this movelist.

General manager and season more should be better. Also, when you make a PPV there should be a fireworks show before and there should be the theme song from that PPV.

In SD v Raw 08 i think that the game should be openned up completely. In story mode you should be able to move around the arena and go where ever you want, whenever you want like being able to go out into the fans in the middle of somebody elses match or show up and commentate. Also in story mode you should be able to see all the superstars story so if you don’t like whats going on you can interrupt the action!

If they are going to really offer a truely good game then the following areas MUST be targeted:

1) Improved Create a Wrestler area.
2) Ability to insert YOUR OWN MUSIC into the game so that a wrestler comes to the ring to any entrance theme you like.
3) Improved entrance editor.

4) More match types.
5) Survivor Series Match
6) No limit to the amount of wrestlers you wish to create (especially on brands like the x-box and the ps3 where you have a harddrive memory)

7) A continuation of the PPV builder gimmick
8) A more complete roster (all superstars)
9) An ability to create your own brand of wrestlers.
10) The ability to record a move name using a headset so that it will be inserted into commentary when you hit it.

Brock Lesnar, Scott Steiner, Rhyno, The World’s Greatest Tag Team, and Samoa Joe should be on the game. So should the ECW Championship.

I want a last ride match, a street fight, & go everywhere in the crowd & you can throw your opponents off the whole thing into 5 stacked tables only on the middle and top.

you should go to wrestlers houses & fight them & break stuff & go everywhere. you should go backstage & go everywhere & throw them in a lake. there should be a bull rope match. you can throw darts at people. there should be bulldozers. there should be a sex celebration. there should be a 50 foot ladder & you can break peoples bones. there should be beer trucks & the crowd can interfer only the people your facing.

I think that you should be able to choose from different attires for each of the superstars. I also think that the storymode should be improved where we could actually here your superstars name called and the storymode should be different for every superstar!!!

I Agree With Mohamed Kandil We Should Have 3 Finisher Slots.

Just a few ideas…

1) Instead of having to go to a particular side of the apron (ring) to get a specific weapon, why not make it so no matter what side of the apron you’re on you can get “ANY” weapon? For example; R1 = Chair, R2 = Table etc. And being able to get weapons inside the cell during Hell In The Cell matches would be beneficial for laying down the smackdown on some jabroni who doesn’t know his role. Having a partner throw a chair into the ring during a cage match could be fun as well. :)

2) Ladder matches are cool, but it would be better if I could land a diving elbow on someone as I put them through a table or powerbombing someone through a table off the ladder.

3) I love hearing the commentators talk. I hate hearing the same thing from 06. It would also be better if they talked about “YOUR” superstar and what is going on in the ring. It would also be nice if when my Diva is pinning her opponent if the commentators wouldn’t refer to her as “HE”.

4) I love creating wrestlers, being able to use a Diva in season mode and building her attributes up would be a plus. And the Divas should only be in female matches unless otherwise dictated by a story line.

5) More entrance music is a “MUST”. What ever happened to Brock Lesners entrance music?

6) Nothing like a good old fashioned “I QUIT” match on a Friday night. More match types to choose from for non PPV shows would be nice.

7) I agree with one poster who said something about it sucking to have your wrestler announced as “The Man”. I understand that due to pronunciation it is difficult if not impossible to allow for the announcers to announce created names; for example; “Theodore McGullincutti” but still more names should be added to the list.

8) Longer names needs to be allowed. I created a ninja themed wrestler and wanted to name him “Shadow Warrior” (BTW add Tabi boots to clothing choices) but couldn’t due to character limitation. I can understand the HUD being limited due to space, but over all the name should have no limitations.

9) There is no sense in having the ECW ring and not have the ECW roster. Realistically you could make it “Smackdown VS Raw VS ECW 2008″ and add the ECW roster to the game. I highly doubt that anyone would complain.

10) Not that I condone hitting women, but for the game the Divas should bleed too.

11) The storylines are great, but more interraction would be nice ESPECIALLY in GM mode. It would be nice to see the storylines chosen in the GM mode to actually be played out.

12) Superstar interviews. Why not have them? I know you can pick them as a promo in GM mode, but why not actually see the interview, and watch the superstar talk smack, and maybe even get smacked? :)

13) Backstage assaults. The occassional backstage assault would be fitting to add drama.

This game should be custom soundtrack like raw2. if you’re going to the hall of fame and become a legend than the game got to have custom soundtrack to make your own theme music without having to used the wwe superstars music every year. it would be good to download the music you want on the xbox360 and ps3 to here your own entrance theme song and even for a stable of a fraction as well. when you’re facing the real wwe superstars. please put custom soundtrack on the game. I’m looking forward to an inferno match and a last ride match on the game it has alway been the main two matches that i wanted on the game while playing smackdown vs raw 2007. Also please have a two player 24/7 mode. Thankyou for everything.

i think when your in season mode you should be able to walk around every week and choose to just pick up a weapon and demolish any wrestler that you want if you see them walking. I want a game where you can make your own choices and your choices may lead to consequences. Like if i was using the undertaker or someone like him and i wanted to do a sneak attack on batista ill look for him then attack him with a weapon that i picked up laying around. Also i think in story mode if you dont want to fight any one while you walk around you could talk to one of the divas and work on your personal life. But if you dont want to do anything like that you can go to the ring and stand by there and watch or intefere with there match. It will also be cool if the story mode would actually show like the diva competition or the rivalries it would even be cool if the players came to you like that do in real wrestling and asking you for a match with someone or for a belt or something like that. It would also be cool if you made the players smarter . As an example when kennedy has his smackdown he should know to go to the ropes and do his smackdown.

Hi. I have all the smackdown series for PS1 and PS2 except for SVR2008. Didnt get it yet. But from what I read, it sounds like its basically the same thing as SVR2007 only with a tiny bit more features. They have been improving alot on the series, but I think to have the consumer get a true experience for the SVR series. These features should be added/upgraded:
Uprade Create-A-Wrestler Mode
Have unlimited layers for CAW to where u can put as much clothes/designs etc on ur CAW as u’d like istead of there being a stupid limit. Have unlimited amounts of CAW that u can create. and have more detail to the clothes/designs instead of it looking like it was just painted on. They should have it to where ur clothes move while walking/running etc just like they did with the wrestlers that have long hair. or trenchcoats.
A more involved storyline. the story lines for the series were ok, but u should be able to do what u want. Interfere in matches, talk on the microphone, roam the backstage areas as well as the crowd and ring/ramp. Add mutiplayer to Season mode.
Upgrade Create-An-Entrance.. I think u should be able to assign certain entrance moves to certain buttons and whenever u wanna do an entrance taunt while coming down to the ring. Just push the desired button..
Create-A-Move. They should at least have a Create-A-Move feature on there. Maybe make the CAM engine sorta like the one used for Tony Hawk’s Underground’s Create-A-Trick feature.
Bring back the Create-A-Taunt.
Create-A-Stable is ok, but I noticed that if u have 3 members in a stable and select whichever trio entrance u want, the 3rd person comes out acting like a female wrestler/manager. They should have more trio entrances to choose from.
Pleeeaaase…get rid of the “magically floating off of the table while standing on it and the disappearing chairs/tables, etc” that doesnt happen in the wwe tv shows. lol
Put ur own music to a CAW’s entrance….even with PS2. For PS2 they should have it that when ur making a CAW, select the music option to choose the CAW’s music and a little menu should pop up saying “superstar’s music/CAW music” when u select CAW music, a menu will pop up saying “select track or insert audio disc, take out the disc and insert an audio disc. once the audio disc loads, u will be able to select the track u want. Once that is done, the track will automatically be saved to ur SVR.profile on ur memory card. it shouldnt be that hard. They had somethin like that for ridge racer for PS1 and MTV music generator 3 remix for PS2.
For the roster, they should have EVERY WRESTLER available alive or dead, past or present.
Add more match types.
Upgrade the submission/grabbing the belt from the ladder system. Make it more realistic instead of the retarded button mashing. <–that breaks my damn controller.
Have a voice recording session for CAW. Instead of selecting one of the 5-6 retarded voice already previously displayed for ur CAW, I think it would be a cool idea to record ur own voice for ur CAW with a USB port microphone or such. That way you if you dont like any of the other previous displayed voices, u can record ur own and listen to ur CAW’s created voice in Season mode. man, Im tryin to thing of some more things. Oh, better menu music instead of the same annoying “I’m the champ” or “dur dur dur money in the bank” songs. but I guess that would go along with the “put ur own music on the game for ur CAW” feature.
A more involved GM mode.
Have the ring announcer and commentators actually say the CAW’s name instead of the retarded choices that u have to pick from.
Improve the commentator dialogue instead of hearing the same boring phrases over and over again. “if he does, ill eat my damn hat” well then eat it already u fat f*ck!
I dont think that “Create-A-Championship and Create-A-Move Set” modes dont really need much improving.

and another old feature that i enjoyed in one of the earlier games that they should bring back. After the match is over, u should have the option to shake ur opponents hand, attack him or just celebrate ur victory with or without ur opponent. and if u select to celebrate with ur opponent, or choose to shake their hand, the AI/player (the opponent u beat) will have the choice of celebrating with you/shaking ur hand or attacking u during the celebration or when u go to shake their hand. Oh and if you choose to attack the opponent after the match is over, the AI/player (the opponent u beat) will have the choice whether or not he wants to defend himself against the attack. that is all.

You should make Trish, Lita, Jazz, Gail kim, Molly Holly, Stephanie Macman, Chyna, And fablous Moolah as Legends and and make Linda machman as legend also yin the next yers series that will b kewl and you should make the superstars to climb the entrance wall and do some moves off them

I think that you should have more matches like the pujamgi prison and 3 steel cages on top of each other and make them try to escape peace out man and women

I was reading what other people have said and i agree with them all. I wish that there were more match types like the Punjabi prison match, more environmental hotspots, more announce phases, more of joey styles saying OH MY GAA-OD an more stuff from smackdown, everything that smackdown and raw announces says are the same as in SVR 2007. The Hall of Fame mode needs to be perfected, because the’s no way in hell I want to unlock belts by creating a championship then wasting time by rasing its prestige.

When I did the Money in the Bank challenge it did not acknowledge it as complete. And the challenge with the hardy boyz cannot be done until the other 11 dates have been completed. other then the running, ECW, and the fighting stlyes this game was a repeat of SVR 07.

In story mode I got into a storyline on raw with an ECW invasion which was difficult and persistent, then the next storyline was with Stephenie McMahon and a controversy about cheating on each other, but after i ended that storyline went to smackdown and the first storyline there: The stupid ECW one, AGAIN! repetitive. I wouldn’t have bought it for the price it was at for what it turned out to be worth, $20.00 would have been fair, and thats generous

I think there are only 2 cheat codes and the Jonny Nitro can be John Morrisan and he will have the ECW champs belt and there will be 2 ECW stages and the Season Mode will be changed to 24/7
