Ultimate Sudoku

Uh, oh. Another dreaded puzzle game encroaches upon the adrenaline-burning action of the online gaming world. It had better be the ultimate puzzle or continuing on would be a waste.

What a lucky break. It’s Ultimate Sudoku! And it’s waiting for you to jump into the immersive world of number puzzling. If you haven’t tried a Sudoku puzzle before, you’ve missed out. Well. Provided that you enjoy puzzles, you’ve missed out. If you don’t enjoy puzzles, you probably don’t care and are waiting expectantly for a game with adrenaline burning action. But for puzzle lovers, Sudoku is one of the best.

Here are the rules of Ultimate Sudoku: Each square must contain all of the numbers 1 to 9. Each number can only appear once in a square. Each row must contain all of the numbers, 1 to 9. Each number can only appear once in a row. Each column must contain all of the numbers, 1 to 9. Each number can only appear once in a column.

As Sudoku games go, and there are a lot of them out there, this is quite nicely done. It’s relaxing to the eye. The graphics are soothingly blue, and include tiny bubbles. It’s challenging to the brain. Some of the games were too challenging for us, which is why we’re glad that easier games with hints were included.

Is this really “ultimate” Sudoku? Seriously, there will, without a doubt, be other Sudoku games in the future. Which would make this, at best, Penultimate Sudoku.
