Playing games in school Using videos helps students love to learn their lessons

Kids that game together, learn together? Sounds pretty far fetched and yet, most people are falling for this. Speaking for myself, I think video games belong at home.

It used to take Ariana Gutierrez 11 minutes to run a mile. Now, the 15-year-old says she can do it in seven minutes thanks to the Dance Dance Revolution video game in her physical education class.

“I think it’s pretty awesome,” said the eighth-grader at Delano Middle School in the San Joaquin Valley. “It’s a better way to work out. PE used to be boring, but I really enjoy it now.” [Read the rest]
