Vancouver developer looks to make video games without burning out staff

Let me be the first to say that this attitude below is really refreshing. Too many game devs out there are becoming burnt out thanks to spending more time with the games than with family and friends.
After making games with Electronic Arts for 10 years, Josh Holmes wanted to head down his own path.
With fellow entrepreneurs Daryl Anselmo, Howard Donaldson and Jorge Freitas, Holmes set up Propaganda Games, now wholly owned by Buena Vista Games - the video gaming arm of Disney.
Their first title, currently under construction with the working title Turok Rebirth, is due out for next-generation consoles in 2007.
The four want to make their own games their own way. That means working normal hours, proper planning and keeping things in perspective. [Read the rest]
