When I think Konomi, I think Contra for the old Nintendo 8 bit system. When people attending Gamer’s Day think of the company, I am sure their thoughts are of much more recent good times.
Fans of Konami’s numerous franchises have plenty to look forward to in 2006. The publisher’s latest Gamer’s Day took place in San Francisco on January 25. Among the many announcements were a special DVD offered as an incentive for gamers who preorder the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, a new Dance Dance Revolution for arcades, a genre-specific new Karaoke Revolution, and a new approach to the UMD format.
