Nintendo Gaming Suffers Profit Losses

To be honest, I am astounded Nintendo has lasted this long. I mean come on! They continue to bank on the wrong market, the younger gamer. At some point this has to really catch up with them in the long term, does it not?
Japanese gaming firm Nintendo, creator of the original characters of gaming such as Donkey Kong and Mario Brothers, has seen profits drop amid weak sales of its latest console.
Net profit dropped 21% to 36.6bn yen (£179m; $308m) in the six months leading up to September 30, from 46.5bn yen a year ago.
Sales dropped 6.2% to 176.4bn yen, as demand for the firm’s GameCube didn’t fair as well as once hoped. [Read the rest]
