Remakes are great things in our ever-advancing world of videogames. It seems like the PSP has been out for ages and when it made its debut, all I heard about were accessories and old PS1 remakes. However, I had yet to see anything worthwhile - until now. Capcom has two remakes coming up, recently announcing two classic Mega Man titles for the PSP.

The one I am looking forward to is Rockman. Rockman, being the Japanese name for Mega Man, is a remake of the original NES Mega Man. Capcom is keeping the original big-headed character models to give it that cartoony Mega Man feel. It is this look that gave the game its style and popularity.

The new game takes this first adventure and adds 3D visuals, although gameplay is still viewed from a side-scrolling perspective. In addition to classic forms of gameplay, you’ll be able to create your own stages with a Constructor mode and trade them with other players. The game will also include new stages and bosses to contend with. The only thing left is to sit and wait for the remakes of Resident Evil 1-3, and every Final Fantasy game imaginable.
