I’m sorry for the lack of any Monday updates, but I was a bit busy today. I guess life just catches up with us sometimes. I had a business proposal from a company which didn’t involve money, but a share of the company. While that sounds like a scam to get work for free, let me tell you: these people can make this happen - they have connections. Not only that, but the idea is … oh man, it’s awesome. You’re just going to have to wait for more information.

Anyway, since I couldn’t update the site during the day, I’ve decided to give you a roundup of the news.

We Love Katamari has gone gold. The sequal to the oddball title Katamari Damacy in on track for a September 20 release and it is expected to come with a $29.99 price tag

The Penny Arcade Expo attendance has reached nearly 9,000 people, which is more than twice the size of last years PAX. The event has become so popular that the organizers are said to be planning to expand next year. Man, I wish I was there.

The Sims 2: Nightlife in now in production! The addon has gone gold and is on track for a September 13 release. It will retail for $34.99

The ever-popular World of Warcraft has it 4 million subscribers. After a week in which the MMORPG world had to bear the announcement of Asheron’s Call 2 being shut down, it’s a nice boost to the gaming niche to learn that this popular MMORPG is growing even more.
