Codemasters announced that is will launch Fusnta.com, which will host more than 1,000 online games aimed at the casual gamer. Funsta.com, which is slated to launch in September, will feature 300 downloadable games and 85 browser-based games free of charge. Codemasters plans to include premium PC games, game on demand, and sport management games for players to enjoy.

“As online distribution becomes a more regular route for broadband Internet users to access entertainment products, Codemasters is perfectly placed to launch Funsta.com as an all-in-one gaming portal,” said Nick Pili, Codemasters’ head of Internet gaming.

Codemasters will partner with several companies to bring this service to gamers, including RealNetworks, Macrovision’s Trymedia, and Metaboli.
