Video game ban not an easy option

I find it hysterical that we live in a world where sexual content is frowned upon, yet many parents seem to have no problem with the immense violence that was in specific games in the first place. Is it just me or does all of this seem out of whack? At least there are some people that see the violence as a problem as well…

Circulation of Grand Theft Auto – San Andreas is so widespread in homes it would be extremely difficult to stem the tide by banning it, the office of Film and Literature indicated yesterday.

The video game allows players to shoot police and civilians, set them on fire, rape women, beat them with baseball bats, throw grenades at them, use the services of prostitutes and kill them to get their money back.

Office of Film and Literature spokesman David Wilson said the concern was that hidden sexually explicit content was found in the game after it had been classified.
