Valve and Electronic Arts (EA) have announced a publishing agreement for the upcoming Half-Life 2: Game of the Year edition and Counter-Strike: Source, which will be available later this fall. According to this GameSpot article, EA will also publish the upcoming Xbox version of Half-Life 2. The same article states that Valve will now officially self-publish all its PC titles.

Shacknews is reporting that the Game of the Year edition will feature Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Counter-Strike: Source, while the Counter-Strike: Source retail box will include Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Day of Defeat: Source.

And finally, Voodoo Extreme has revealed that the upcoming boxed version of the Half-Life 2 expansion, dubbed Aftermath, will also be published by EA.
