2K Games announced via press release that they will be publishing Ford Racing 3 in North America. The Empire Interactive developed title will features 55 vehicles from the Ford Motor Company, and will include cars such as the Thunderbird, Mustang and various concept automobiles. The game will bolster online gaming on both the PC and Xbox, while the PlayStation 2 version will sport split-screen multiplayer action. Ford Racing 3 will ship to retail in March, and will carry a price tag of $14.99USD.

2K Games To Distribute Ford Racing 3 In North America

New York – February 23, 2005 – 2K Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), today announced that it has signed an agreement with Empire Interactive to distribute Ford Racing 3 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Xbox® video game system from Microsoft, and PC in North America. The first two titles of the Ford Racing series, which were also distributed by Take-Two, sold over 1 million units in North America.

Ford Racing 3 features 55 beautifully detailed Ford automobiles, including Ford GTs, Thunderbirds, concept and SVT vehicles, Mustangs and trucks; 26 detailed tracks with interactive scenery; 11 different race types and support for online play on Xbox Live; LAN and online play for PC and head-to-head split screen on PS2 and Xbox.
