Gaming website HomeLAN has published a preview of the Xbox version of Crystal Dynamics and Eidos’ upcoming sci-fi first-person shooter Project Snowblind, which will also be availabe on the PC and PC. The game is scheduled to start appearing on store shelves on Feb. 22.

Originally Project Snowblind was going to be a kind of spin off from Ion Storm’s Deus Ex series and while playing the beta build you can definitely see the roots of the acclaimed first person action-RPG series, both in terms of gameplay elements and in its art style. It’s the year 2065 and your character of Nathan Frost is a member of a peacekeeping force in Hong Kong that’s trying to prevent a military coup. However, an early firefight puts him under the knife and his superiors give him some bio-enhancements that along with his powerful weapons truly make him a one man army.
