The Darkness Grabs Xbox 2

A report from DigitalEntertainmentNews reveals that Majesco (the
publisher of BloodRayne) and Starbreeze (developer of Chronicles of
Riddick) are hard at work on The Darkness for *hold your breath* the
Xbox 2! The Darkness is a very popular comic franchise of Top Cow and
is about an ancient evil force (called the Darkness) which has been
wielded by a mob hitman called Jackie Estacado. Apprently, this power
gives him the ability to create anything he can imagine. However, a
group called the Angelis is bent on taking him out so that they can
rid the world of Darkness for good.

The Darkness, created by Marc Silvestri, Garth Ennis and David Wohl, is the opposing force to the Witchblade, about an ancient evil force (called, naturally, the Darkness) that has come to be weilded by a good guy, a mob hitman named Jackie Estacado.

This game has no release date, although its expected that it will be
released to coincide with the upcoming movie.
